In writing this book our major challenges were to find out answers to the queries that – (i) what is the present land law, i.e. law of ownership of lands, of our land? (ii) what is record-of-rights? (iii) after abolishment of ex-zamindary system, who have become owners/maliks of lands of our country? (iv) in whose name the S.A. record-of-rights was to be recorded? (v) in whose names the subsequent revisional record-of-rights is to be recorded, etc. Because, in our legal system, these matters have got little room to be researched or even at least to be considered. We have hope that by the blessings of almighty Allah swt. We have abled to present something about those matters.
